Papatūānuku represents the Earth element which makes the fourth learning team at Hataitai School. Each of the classes are named after various Maunga (Mountains) that can be found across New Zealand. 

Our vision is to transition the children into our school environment and to give them the tools to be successful and enthusiastic learners. We encourage children to be curious and to explore our world within a relevant context.

In 2024 our team expands to incorporate Year 3 students.
