Welcome to Hataitai School Sport 2010. We are looking forward to another year of high participation and fun on the sports field.
Our sports handbook, published first in 2005 and now being updated, is designed to inform parents and students about sporting opportunities available and what is involved with each individual sport. We have also listed contact details for sports clubs into which the school feeds.
Feel free to ask questions/clarification by contacting me via email, or call one of the parents named under the particular sports. We are grateful to these parents who have volunteered to be co-ordinators.
Hataitai School recognises the role of sporting activities in providing the students with valuable learning experiences. It encourages parents and the wider community to become involved in sport. We will ensure that there is equality of opportunity for all students to participate in and experience sport. We enter teams based on the number of children who enrol to a particular sport.
The sport offered by Hataitai School relies completely on the goodwill of parents and the wider community.
