Welcome to the Hataitai After School Care Incorporated (HASCI) page.
HASCI is operated as a not for profit incorporated society. A committee of volunteer parents is in place to provide the necessary oversight and support required to ensure that the programme is well run and successful in every aspect.
The philosophy underlying the programme is to provide a high quality childcare service after school hours. It aims to provide a safe, caring, recreational environment that allows children to express themselves.
On a normal school day, the service will commence with a light afternoon tea that is followed by a combination of scheduled activities and free play. We utilise the school grounds in outdoor play and also provide indoor activities such as arts and crafts, movies, blocks, board games, jewellery making, reading, dress ups, imaginative play etc.
Operating Hours
The after school care programme normally operates during the hours of 3:00pm – 5:45pm, Monday to Friday on normal school days only (i.e. when children are in attendance at school). Please note, there is a late pick up fee if the child is picked up after 5.45pm.
Enrolments & Casual Attendance ** 2012 Term 1 **
At the moment we have spaces available on all days of the week. All enquiries are welcome.

Once you have filled in the enrolment form, please drop it into the Hataitai School office or fill it in electronically/scan it and email it back to hataitaiasci@gmail.com.
Please ensure you fill out all sections fully and don't forget to sign the parent contract to minimise any delays in processing your enrolment request.
Children walking home alone
Some parents & care givers allow their children to walk home from after school care unaccompanied at a certain time. If you wish to make such an arrangement for your child or children then click here to download permission to walk home form. Children will not be able to walk home on their own unless this form has been completed and given to the after school care team.
Charges per session (3.00pm - 5.45pm)[subject to change from term to term]
One child $ 10 per session
Each additional sibling $ 9 per session
Casual Bookings $12 per session for first child then $9 per sibling
Late pick up fee is $10 for the first 10 minutes after 5.45pm and $10 for each 10 minute block there after.
Notification of Absence
If you know that your child or children won't be attending the service on a day that has been booked, then please either phone/txt Sandra on 027 248 3378 or email hataitaiasci@gmail.com well before 2.30pm on the day.
Please note, credits for days booked will only be given if notice of absence is given at least 2 weeks prior. Any less notice than this means you will be charged for the day(s) you had booked even if you don't use them.
Hataitai School Holiday Programme
