Home Learning Philosophy
At Hataitai School, we believe that Home Learning should foster young people’s learning and independence, and not be onerous or time consuming.  It should be purposeful and enjoyable, while also reinforcing classroom learning.  It should promote creativity and imagination.  It should provide opportunities for family sharing or interaction where appropriate.

Each learning team has created a Home Learning page that includes a range of structured activities to suit your child’s needs.  As Papatuanuku covers up to four year groups there are different expectations for those in Whakaari and those in Te Pae Maunga.  You can click on the pictures below to reach the appropriate page:
