Hataitai School holds a sports assembly in December of each year.

The assembly focuses on Hataitai School Teams that have won an inter school sporting event and individual students sporting achievements throughout 2011.

We award the Hataitai School medal to the following:

• any sporting code where the student has achieved Wellington Representative status

• any student that has gained a placement in a Wellington Zone event.

• members of Hataitai School teams if the team has won an inter school sporting competition.

Many students at Hataitai School have been selected for Wellington Representative Teams through the year and we would like to recognise these achievements.  We would appreciate that we are told of these selections so that we can acknowledge them accordingly.  Some students are modest about their talents so we do ask that the parents contact the school with this information.
