It is my pleasure and privilege to be the Principal at Hataitai School. It is a very special place with fantastic students, a hard working staff and supportive families.

Our vision is that our students develop confidence and independence in a nurturing environment where we have high expectations for all learning and behaviour.

We want our students to enjoy their learning.

A talented team of teaching and support staff work to create the best possible teaching and learning environment for children. Most of our classes use some form of team teaching where the teachers work together to provide learning experiences for larger groups of students.

Visitors are often interested in our shared vision and culture, and comment positively on our students high level of engagement achievement and independence in their learning.

A recent visitor commented "I wish school was like this for me, it should be like this for everyone."
