Holiday Programmes

Our summer programme runs from 16th January to 3rd February, 2012. We've been to the zoo and the the pool. Also, there'll be science activities, craft activities, our ever-popular Artsight art programme, and plenty of daily fun and fitness.

On Wednesday Feb 1st, we were going to take the ferry to Eastbourne for a picnic, but it's too windy, so we've decided to go into town instead.

Limited days

Because most of our staff will be unavailable from 30th of January, 2012, there will be a lower limits per day (our normal daily limit is 40 children).  There are now no spaces on Monday, 30th January, and Wednesday 1st February, and just two on Tuesday 31st, Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd.

Fee increase

Unfortunately we will be increasing our fees from the summer 2012 holiday programme. Rates per child will be:
* 9am - 3pm: $35/day
* 3pm - 5pm: $10/day

Forms

To take part, you will need to complete a Booking form where you can tell us what days you want, and an Enrolment form which tells us about your child or children. If you have enrolled with us before, we may be able to pre-populate the Enrolment form for you. Just ask us. Enrolment and booking forms should be emailed to hataitai.hararei.enrol@gmail.com. Payment can be made via online banking, or by cash or cheque. Details are on the Booking form. Forms for the next holidays are available below.

About us

Hataitai Hararei holiday programmes are for children from Year 0 - Year 8, or aged 5 - 13. We are OSCAR funded and CYF accredited.

We provide separate programmes for Years 0-3, and Years 4-8, with a weekly excursion. Please see below for our last programme schedules as an example of the activities we offer.

8am - 5pm

Pricing

$35 per day from 8am - 3pm, plus $10 from 3pm - 5pm.

Cancellations

The date for automatic refunds on cancellation is a week before the first day of the programme, which was Monday, 9th January 2012. After that, refunds will be considered by the Programme Manager, but are not automatic. The general rule of thumb is that, if your day can be sold to someone else, you will get 80% of your fee refunded (the remainder is kept to over administration costs). Cancellations of After 3pm care will be refunded in full as long as the programme is advised up to the day before the care is booked.

Funding Acknowledgement

Hataitai Hararei/Paku Hataitai Hararei Holiday programmes are funded and supported by the OSCAR Foundation and the Ministry of Social Development (Te Manatu Whakahiato Ora).

Pre-populated Forms

If your children have attended the programme before (in other words, if we have had an Enrolment form from you before), we can pre-populate this holiday's form with the latest data we have, email this to you, and you can make amendments or confirm that it's accurate. You will still need to sign the Disclaimers page, and you will need to complete a Booking form with required dates and fees. If you would like a pre-populated Enrolment form, just advise us when you send in your Booking form.
